  Following from one of my previous posts 'Vintage Star Wars Collectables'. I have looked at some of the vehicles that were a massive part of the original trilogy of film and have looked into how much those classic toys are worth. The toy makers who linked up with the original trilogy managed to bring a large amount of the ships and futuristic vehicle to an audience who could not get enough of the merchandise.  The Millennium Falcon... Upon a recent visit to an antique shop in the north east of England I came across one of the first Millennium Falcon toys without its box. Although the toy was in good condition, the seller wanted over £200( roughly $250) for the vintage toy. The Millennium Falcon was in a display box, so I could not check its true age and condition. The fact that it was not boxed was disappointing as some markets still sell the boxed version of the Millennium Falcon for a similar price. To find a mint condition vintage Millennium Falco...

Have you seen how much the vintage Star Wars figures go for? I am pretty sure that most would happily have to sacrifice their right arm for some of those figures. For those whose early childhood was dominated by the original trilogy, playing with those figures with friends in the backyard is a purely happy memory. I myself lost a couple of storm troopers, buried under the muddy soil of a good friends garden feature. Whether or not the mud was a good substitution for that of the forest moon of Endor? - I don't know. But at the age I was then, authenticity was never going to be a pressing concern. When I looked through the value of some of the Vintage Star Wars Collectables and saw their prices a good forty years later- I was genuinely shocked. There has always been a thriving market for vintage Star Wars collectables in mint condition. But I was really surprised by how much the worth of  Vintage Star Wars Figures had increased over time.
